SNOW! NO NO NO

Well, here we go again! Not only are they saying we will get snow by Friday night, but I have heard we could get 6 inches or we could be dumped on like New York was previously! Up to 4 feet, depending on if the storm blows through or stalls over us. They say it is building up in the gulf just like it did before it dumped on New York! NONONONONONO! I HATE SNOW! I do not want any snow! I want summer! I have plans next Thursday night and I do not want any snow to mess up my plans! My daughter, mother and myself have tickets to go see Reba and Kelly Clarkson! I am looking so forward to this concert, therefore NO SNOW! Mom and I seen them together in Nashville last year at Fan Fair, see pic. They were great there for one song, seen them on CMT crossroads and it was great, so expect the concert to be great also. Do I sound excited? Yep I do, cause I am. Help me keep the snow away!

Weather

Wow! Are we having some strong winds or what?! What they say about the St. Louis area is true, "If you don't like the weather, stick around a couple of days it will change." A couple of days? Who are they kidding! Today when I went to lunch @ noon it felt like it was around 70 degrees, by the time I got off at 5:00 p.m. the wind was gusting up to 60 miles per hour, it was snowing and felt like it was in the teens! This was all in about 5 hours! I think they said we hit a record high for the day. I won't be surprised if we end up hitting a record low, especially with the high winds, low temperature, it should produce really low wind chills! BBBRRRRRRR! Well, enough of that. Gotta go, but I will leave you with a picture to match! It is from around Christmas, but who cares, it fits. Stay warm!

EAGLE DAYS!

Well, we were going to go look at the eagles again today, but for some reason Tom changed his mind. We went last weekend and seen about 20 or so, and are they beautiful and big! We went up through Hardin, crossed the Hardin bridge and ended up in a real small town called Hamburg. The picture I posted is from the parking lot at the Brussels Ferry up by Grafton. The mayor of Hamburg told us about going to a town called Winfield, MO where he seen several hundred eagles, which was our intended spot for today. Instead, we are going to Bandanas to eat, with my favorite people, my family.

Trying It Out!

Well, here I go! My daughter says I should start my own blog and that it is very simple. So, I have decided to try it. I enjoy looking at the pictures she posts and reading her little snippets she puts in, thus the reason I'm giving it a try.

This is my husband Tom and myself in front of Yellowstone Lake this past summer. Boy was it beautiful! Well here goes, the start of my own blog page.
